Privacy Policy

This policy explains how FakeCop handles information when you use the app. FakeCop is an entertainment and parent-guided role-play app. It is not affiliated with any police department or government authority.

Effective August 14, 2026Last updated August 14, 2026

Plain-language summary: FakeCop does not require an account and does not sell personal information. A name entered to personalize a simulated call is used for that experience. Advertising and content-delivery providers may receive limited device and usage information as described below.

01

Information we handle

Information you provide

You may enter a name to personalize the simulated call experience. FakeCop does not use that name to create a user profile, sell it, or use it for personalized advertising. Please avoid entering a child's full legal name or other sensitive information.

Information collected automatically

FakeCop itself does not require registration and does not ask for your precise location, contacts, call history, microphone recordings, photos, or payment information. Service providers used for advertising, app delivery, security, diagnostics, or audio delivery may automatically process limited technical data such as IP address, device type, operating-system version, app interactions, advertising identifiers, crash data, and approximate location inferred from an IP address.

02

How information is used

  • Provide and personalize the simulated call experience.
  • Download and play the selected audio content.
  • Display, limit, measure, and protect advertising.
  • Maintain app security, diagnose crashes, and improve reliability.
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse.

FakeCop does not sell personal information.

03

Third-party services

FakeCop may use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and other data under their own policies. FakeCop may also use hosting and content-delivery providers to serve app audio and updates; those providers may keep standard security and access logs.

04

Retention and security

FakeCop retains information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the app, maintain security, meet legal requirements, or resolve disputes. Third-party service providers apply their own retention periods. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

05

Children's privacy

FakeCop is intended to be set up and controlled by a parent or guardian and is not designed for children to use independently. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Parents should not enter a child's full legal name or other identifying or sensitive information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

06

Your choices

You can stop all further app data processing by uninstalling FakeCop. You may also reset or limit your device's advertising identifier and control advertising permissions in your Android settings. Privacy requests concerning information controlled by FakeCop can be submitted using the developer contact method below.

07

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.
